Sophie Power

Ultrarunner, mother of 3

Tech investor/advisor & NED.

British ultra-runner Sophie Power became a household name when a photograph of her breastfeeding her 3-month-old baby during the 106-mile Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) went viral around the world.

​

Sophie, who started running in 2009, finished the UTMB in just under 44 hours, and has also run several of the world’s most famous ultra-races including the Marathon des Sables across the Sahara, the 153-mile, non-stop Spartathlon in Greece and the 268-mile Spine Fusion. 

​

She has recently had her third baby and shared her active pregnancy and recovery through social media @ultra_sophie and a documentary sponsored by Hoka.  Sophie is passionate about ensuring all women have the opportunity to be active and is a Trustee of Women in Sport. Sophie is also an Ambassador for The Active Pregnancy Foundation.

Rachel Prince

Corrective Exercise Specialist

Rachel, founder of re|Born, is an ex-retail and eCommerce executive turned women’s health and fitness coach based in London. With a specialism in pre & post natal fitness and prehab/rehab, Rachel focuses on mindful and functional movement, while also bridging the gap between pelvic health physical therapy and training.

 

Based on her own experience during her first ttc journey, Rachel is passionate about removing fear around exercise during ttc, pregnancy and beyond. Rachel supports women and mothers to stay active - empowering them to continue with, and return to, the activities they love safely, while educating on the importance of pelvic health.

Elaine is a full time British Army General Practitioner, who chairs the Defence GP Specialist Interest Group for Women’s Health alongside her clinical practice. She is also a Girlguiding UK Ambassador.

 

As a women’s health practitioner Elaine has supported the British Army and Defence to deliver a number of women’s health initiatives since being nominated as chair in late 2016. These include the introduction of pre and post-natal instructor training for Defence physical fitness staff, the introduction of an occupationally specific Defence women’s health physiotherapy service and the introduction of an Army Breastfeeding Policy. The group also delivers training and updates on women’s health for Defence medical personnel.

 

Elaine lives in Wiltshire, but regularly returns to her roots in Blackpool, Lancashire. She enjoys running, swimming, hiking and paddleboarding in her spare time; usually with her dachshund Bosco. Elaine is a full time British Army General Practitioner, who chairs the Defence GP Specialist Interest Group for Women’s Health alongside her clinical practice. She is also a Girlguiding UK Ambassador.
