Terms & Conditions
Please read the following Terms & Conditions, thoroughly, before using our website:
What do these Terms & Conditions cover?
These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) tell you the rules for using our website www.activepregnancyfoundation.org (Site) along with the T&Cs on which we supply digital based content (Services). The terms contain provisions dealing with access to, and use of, our site. These include information about the website owner, rights to modify or withdraw the website, disclaimers for material published on it or linked to or from it, rules about how such materials may be used, and about unacceptable user behaviour.
These T&Cs also tell you who we are as an organisation, how we will provide Services to you, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information.
Terms of Reference
The term 'The Active Pregnancy Foundation' or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or 'The APF', refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Marks & Co. 100 Church Street, Brighton BN1 1UJ. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
There are other policies that may apply to you which also apply to your use of our site, and are therefore worth reading.
Our Data Protection Policy, which sets out how we collect, use and store your data.
We amend these T&Cs from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these T&Cs to ensure you understand the version extant at that time.
We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our users' needs, and our business priorities.
We may suspend or withdraw our site. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
Our site is only intended for users and viewers in the United Kingdom (UK), therefore our site is directed to people residing in the UK. We do not represent that content available on or through our site is appropriate for use or available in other locations or jurisdictions.
Limitations of Liability
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
By engaging in physical activities, you agree that you voluntarily participate with full knowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury or illness arising from such engagement.
Generally, women do not need permission to move or engage in low to moderate intensity physical activities, however, you need to understand that:
(1) the guidance for being active during pregnancy applies to uncomplicated pregnancies: and (2) the guidance for being active following childbirth advocates a gradual return to moderate intensity activities and that higher intensity activities should only proceed in the absence of any signs or symptoms of abdominal wall and/or pelvic floor dysfunction.
You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing and it is up to you to ensure that you are well enough to participate in physical activities. We are not in a position to express an opinion that you are able to participate safely in any activity. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your medical team (e.g. midwife, GP, physiotherapist) if you have any concerns on this matter.
Furthermore, you should not use this website (or any external site which we list or link to) as a means of diagnosis. The Active Pregnancy Foundation is not responsible or liable for any diagnosis which you might derive based on the content of this website, nor are we liable for the contents of any external Internet sites listed.
While we endeavour to keep the information on this site up to date, relevant and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published through it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal and non-commercial use, and you may draw the attention of others to content posted on our site.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
Therefore, you must not:
(a) republish material from this website (including republication on another website);
(b) sell, rent or otherwise sub-license material on the website;
(c) reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for a commercial purpose;
(c) edit or otherwise modify any material on the website; or
(d) redistribute material from this website, except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution.
Where content is specifically made available for redistribution, it may only be redistributed to the extent agreed by us.
Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of The Active Pregnancy Foundation. Third Party Rights
This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its T&Cs.
Severance of Terms
Each of the paragraphs of these T&Cs operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these T&Cs, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
We may revise these T&Cs from time-to-time. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
