These are the Terms & Conditions for entry into The Active Pregnancy Foundation Awards 2023 (The APFA23).
​
​It is free to enter or nominate and the APFA23 ceremony will be held at 10 Union Street, London SE1 1SZ on the 27th June 2023.

Nominator
​

By submitting your nomination, you agree to the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not submit your entry.

Closing date is midnight on Sunday 19th March 2023. All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date. Late, incomplete, or corrupt entries will not be accepted.

The APFA2023 is open to UK residents only (including residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Employees of The APF, Employees of the Sponsors, as well as their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Entrants must be 18 or over to enter.

Nominators can nominate themselves, and this entry will not be prejudiced against.

Nominators need not carry out due diligence checks themselves.

We advise seeking permission from the nominee before submitting your nomination - we appreciate this may not always be possible.

Personal data will be treated in accordance with current UK GDPR legislation and will not be shared with outside parties without the entrant’s prior consent.

By entering, the nominator will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and The APF reserves the right to exclude their nomination from The APFA23 at any time and in its absolute discretion if the APF has reason to believe that an nominator has breached these rules.

Nominees

All awards will be considered in the context of physical activity during the perinatal period. ie. the period immediately before pregnancy, during pregnancy and up to a year after giving birth.

Winners will be selected by our Judging Panel after short-listing. In some cases the Awards winner will be chosen via a public vote. The Awards Criteria outlines the specific Awards and how they will be judged.

Selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

Shortlisted candidates in the 'publicly judged' categories will be notified in the week commencing the 22nd April 2023. The remaining shortlisted nominees will be contacted in the week commencing 22nd May 2023. If shortlisted candidates cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to take them off the shortlist and pick a replacement. Shortlisted candidates can, of course, decide not to proceed and again a replacement will be found.

This competition is administered by The APF. The APF will perform due diligence checks on nominees to ensure they fit the Awards Criteria.

The Award is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

Your involvement, either as a shortlisted candidate or category winner, does not imply an endorsement by The APF, nor The APFA23 Sponsors or Supporting Partners.

Events may occur that render The APFA23 event itself impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the APF, and accordingly the APF may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the APF as a result thereof. The APF also reserves the right to cancel the APFA23 or alter any of the rules at any stage.

These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
