The Active Pregnancy Foundation (APF) is thrilled to announce that Dr Zoe Williams will be hosting the highly anticipated APF Awards 2025. A passionate advocate for women’s health and wellbeing, Dr Zoe Williams is a familiar face to many as a respected GP, broadcaster, and health educator. Her dedication to promoting active lifestyles aligns perfectly with the mission of The APF, making her the ideal host for this inspiring event.
The APF Awards celebrate the champions of active pregnancy—recognising individuals, organisations, and communities who have gone above and beyond to support and empower women to stay active before, during, and after pregnancy.
As the only UK charity dedicated to breaking down barriers to physical activity during pregnancy and early motherhood, The APF is committed to changing perceptions and encouraging active lifestyles, supporting women to stay active throughout pregnancy and beyond, by providing expertise & advice, changing culture & challenging policy.

Speaking about her involvement, Dr Zoe Williams said:
“I’m honoured to be hosting the APF Awards 2025. Staying active during pregnancy has so many proven benefits for both physical and mental wellbeing, and I’m passionate about breaking down the myths and misconceptions that often hold women back. I can’t wait to celebrate the incredible work being done to support women and their families to move more and live well.”
Sally Kettle, CEO of the Active Pregnancy Foundation, added:
“We’re absolutely delighted to have Dr Zoe Williams hosting this year’s awards. Her passion for empowering women to take charge of their health and wellbeing mirrors our own mission at the APF. This event is all about recognising the remarkable efforts of those championing active pregnancy and breaking down barriers to physical activity, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host to lead the celebration.”
The APF Awards 2025 will take place on the 6th June 2025 at 10 Union Street, London. It will bring together leaders from healthcare, sport, and community initiatives and the Awards will shine a light on leadership, good practice, innovation, and research because together we recognise that pregnancy is an opportunity to influence not only women’s health, but also that of their families and wider communities.
